Modern WindowsВ® applications are very complicated "beasts". They include prominent numbers of files that are often saved in many different places, not just in the application's own syllabus directory. In summation to this they also have regular larger numbers of settings, sometimes hundreds, which they register in Windows' central database, which is known as the WindowsВ® Registry.

Ashampoo UnInstaller Platinum Suite works by creating two "snapshots" of your organisation, one before you install an application and another one flat afterwards. These snapshots register the intact status of your computer organisation, including completely registry entries, the locations, dates, sizes and versions of completely files and the contents of completely configuration files. After creating the second snapshot the syllabus then compares it with the commencement and records completely the differences in a special file called an "initiation log file", or "log file" for short. When you order Ashampoo UnInstaller Platinum Suite to uninstall the application it slews a previously created this log file and uses the information it contains to reconstruct everything on your organisation to the way it was before you installed the application.
